so saturated. x_x photoshop and a top layer of real colored pencil on photo matte paper, to tighten up some things.
this, believe it or not, started with an ink blot. We had to find compositions in them. Was the assignment for eccentric illustration.

However this dragon rocks! I love your ability to create creatures that have alot of life to them even when they are lounging around. Their form and musculature is believable. And this guy's eyes... they are not outright noticable, but they really contribute to making the dragon look alive, because they look intelligent and like glass, focusing on something intruiging in the trees. If you're looking on something to work on, the tree bark looks a little like mud. I see you changed the color closer to the top of the trunk where the light changes because of the leaves, that helps the forshortening with the impression of distance (I hate trying to draw forshortening! I'm so bad at it!)
But, man, that dragon....

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I love the blue tones. And the design on the dragon. Yush...Horray for inkblots if they can come up with something so neat
Eh, I don't think it's too saturated. Can't have everything looking too grey, can we?
